It is the radii** of the inner corners of steel channels that provide the required rigidity and strength to support steel angles and other construction and structural tasks.
* To clarify, a beam with a cross-section shaped like an I or H is an I beam.
** A line segment extending from the center of a circle or sphere to the circumference or bounding surface.
