Alpha Wedge

Alpha Wedge is available in sizes M6, M8 or M10.

There are several sizes of Alpha Wedge, with the aid of a locking plate which prevents concrete blocks from delaminating (*).

Once fixed attached to threaded rod, you insert it into the slot and rotated 90-degrees.  It is important to tighten the nut against the locking plate in order to secure the unit in place.

In summary, this connection will provide a zero-impact method of connecting, so concrete decks will not be damaged.

* Delamination occurs when a material fractures into layers.  Delamination can occur in various materials including laminate composites and concrete. Rolling can create layers in materials, such as steel, which can fail from layer separation.
