Under these conditions, it is advisable not to apply these fixings to deformed or distorted decking profiles. This is because the fixings may not be able to exert enough clamping force to hold the decking boards securely in place, resulting in an unstable surface. Additionally, the fixings may not be able to penetrate the decking board properly, leading to further instability.

Thread the wedge nut and locking plate onto the rod, insert them into the slot, and rotate them 90 degrees.

Tightening of the nut against the locking plate locks the unit securely in place.

Finish: Zinc Plated to BS 7371-1:2009.
